Giving cats and kittens a safe new start

High Peak Cat Rescue was born from a shared passion for helping abandoned, unwanted and neglected cats and kittens. We are committed to providing rescued animals with the care they need, and a safe, loving place  to live while we find them a permanent home. We recognise that fostering can be an essential step in transforming the lives of rescued cats and kittens. So, initially our focus is on building and supporting a network of compassionate foster carers who offer stability, safety, space and love until our rescues are ready to move on to the forever home they deserve.

Rescue and safety

We help cats and kittens in need, offering a safe place and compassionate care when they have nowhere else to turn.

Foster care

Our foster carers provide calm, temporary homes where cats can settle, recover and prepare for their next chapter.

Loving adoptions

We carefully match our cats with suitable homes, helping each adoption begin with  understanding, patience and support.

Community support

Every donation, volunteer hour and act of kindness helps us continue rescuing and rehoming cats across the High Peak.

A kinder future for every cat

High Peak Cat Rescue is built on the belief that every cat and kitten deserves to feel safe, valued and loved. We work with caring fosterers, adopters and supporters throughout the High Peak, and thanks to our wonderful community we are able to give vulnerable cats the second chance they need. We are currently in the process of applying for registered charity status for High Peak Cat Rescue.
